And that’s a wrap on media day. It was about the quickest three hours of my life. Each team got an hour with a 60-minute intermission in between. The Patriots went first and here are some quick hits:

**As expected, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick had a crowd around their podium 30 minutes before the Patriots even walked out. However, it was Rob Gronkowski who had the biggest crowd around him wondering the latest on his high ankle sprain. Gronk has lost the walking boot and Patriot fans are still holding their breath.

**Wide receiver Wes Welker was asked if he would follow Chad Ochocino’s lead and join the cast of “Dancing with the Stars.” Welker said he wanted no part of the show, but he did let everyone know that he is a big fan of the MTV reality show “Jersey Shore.” Welker was able to name every cast member and their nickname.

A reporter asked Welker why Belichick has been in such a good mood, which is a hot topic the last two days.

"I think he's enjoying himself and I said it the other night, I think he has a lady in his life."

**Speaking of Ochocino, he was very quiet on a day where there is nothing to do but talk. I a lot of writers were looking around for him. He did not have a podium or a spot in the stands. He was roaming the field where a lot of the lesser-known players usually hang out. Unfortunately, I missed him.

**Deion Branch attributed the Patriots’ success over the last decade to “stability” and “consistently” having Tom Brady and Bill Belichick as the brain-trust.

“There isn’t a lot of turnover with the top-tier guys,” he said.

**Tight end Aaron Hernandez was asked about his relationship with former college teammate Tim Tebow. Hernandez said they were close, but they don’t keep in contact much these days because they’re on opposite sides of the country. Hernandez said he sees a lot of similarities in former Florida head coach Urban Meyer and Belichick.

**Logan Mankins was asked if he gives mustache tips to Welker, who has a decent ‘stache of his own. Mankins said he has not conversed with Welker on that issue, but he insisted his mustache is awesome.
