PHILADELPHIA -- Eagles linebacker and special teamer Travis Long suffered a torn ACL in his left knee on a punt return on Monday, marking the second straight year he suffered the injury. He is done for the year, and maybe for his career.

"He knew it, because he had done it before," coach Chip Kelly said on Tuesday. "You just feel awful and the players feel the same way. You can't put it into words. We watched him rehab and come back, and it happens again."

It's actually Long's third ACL tear; he suffered a torn ACL in his right knee in his final season at Washington State in 2012.
