Brett Favre didn't participate in the segment of practice that is open to the media today, but his injured right shoulder is getting better, according to offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell.
"He still has a little bit more range of motion. I see him stretching and moving around," Bevell said. "I still think he's obviously in some pain. Sleeping is not very comfortable. Either you put it on the left or put it on the right, but it's still painful."
It still may come down to a game-time decision whether Favre plays against the Giants. But Bevell isn't counting out Favre, who has started 297 consecutive regular season games.
"You expect nothing less than him being out there," Bevell said.
One of Favre's favorite targets, Percy Harvin, missed yet another practice today while dealing with a migraine headache problem that has bothered him for years. He missed most of practice last week and sat out the Vikings' win over the Bills.
