Vikings possible landing spot for Kolb

With Brett Favre having announced his retirement - well, we all know that decision is not etched in stone - the Vikings will be in the market for a quarterback in the off-season. Do they draft one? Do they trade for one? Or perhaps both?

One thing seems certain: the Vikings will give careful consideration to trading for Eagles backup Kevin Kolb, who will be on the market once the league's labor problems are squared away.

Head coach Leslie Frazier said this morning in New Orleans at a coach's breakfast that he's looking for a quarterback.

"I can’t imagine a scenario where we wouldn’t add a quarterback [in the draft] at some point,” Frazier said.

But what about Kolb?

"You’d have to consider a guy like Kevin [Kolb] if he becomes available,” Frazier said.
