Sounds like quarterback Charlie Whitehurst will be in the lineup on Sunday for the Seahawks, who visit Cleveland after their bye week. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told radio station 97.3 KIRO FM that Tarvaris Jackson hasn't full recovered from the pectoral muscle strain he suffered two weeks ago in an upset win against the Giants.

"Charlie's ready to go, and as far as I'm concerned he's starting the football game, unless something turns with Tarvaris here in the next couple days," said Carroll.

Jackson suffered a high-grade strain of his right pectoral against the Giants.

"Tarvaris has been throwing the football in controlled routes. He's closer than the doctors would have thought he could be this quickly," Carroll emphasized. "We've tried to be careful with him as he's coming back."
