Patriots running back Danny Woodhead, who joined the team last year after being released by the Jets, had to leave last night's game against the Bucs in Tampa when he was leveled while covering a punt. He stumbled when getting to his feet, but told reporters in the locker room after the game that he was ok.
"I feel fine," Woodhead said, declining to answer more questions. Patriots players are typically reluctant to talk about injuries on orders from head coach Bill Belichick. The coach was asked about Belichick, and told reporters, "I saw him in the locker room and he seemed OK."
