Although better than Thursday, Tiger Wood's second round at the U.S. Open was hardly impressive.
After blaming the greens after the first round, Woods may place blame on his driver and long irons after the second. Woods had trouble finding the fairway off the tee and finished with four bogeys on the day. He followed up a three-over 74 on Thursday with a one-over 72 in the second round to finish at four-over for the tournament. At seven strokes behind the current leader, Woods has plenty of ground to make up.
Based on his play over the past two days, the deficit seems insurmountable.
