Tiger Woods' putter not helping

Tiger Woods might be the greatest putter ever inside 10 feet, but he just missed about a nine-foot birdie putt at No. 3 to remain even. The good thing is that he's had three makeable birdie putts, but he's not dialed in on the greens. Starting in the afternoon, he might encounter bumpy poa annua greens that become a source of frustration.

Lee Westwood recorded his second bogey in three holes, and Ernie Els parred to remain even. Tom Watson is +1 through the first three holes of the backside, while Rory McIlroy and Ryo Ishikawa are even. By the way, Ishikawa is pinker than Poulter in an ensemble that more closely resembles a jogging suit from the '80s.
