Aronica's two goals keep Commack undefeated

Max Aronica scored two goals, including the go-ahead score off a cross from Jack Miller with 17 minutes left as Commack topped Ward Melville, 3-1, in League I boys soccer Tuesday.

Miller finished with two assists and Adam Tamburello also scored for Commack (6-0), which retained sole possession of first place in the league. Steven Nworjih scored for Ward Melville, which drops to 5-2.

Lindenhurst 2, Longwood 1: Hayri Altintas scored the winner with 14 minutes left in the second half for Lindenhurst (3-3) in League I. Jack Sumski gave Lindenhurst a 1-0 lead off a feed from Robert Zielinski in the first half. Anil Sire scored for Longwood (0-6).West Islip 3, Bay Shore 2: Sean Sepe scored tying goal in the 77th minute and the winner in overtime off a cross from Cameron Eiseman for West Islip (5-0) in League II. Justin Rivera and Carlos Martinez scored for Bay Shore. Bay Shore is 3-1-2.

East Meadow 2, MacArthur 0: Joe Martinico scored in the 30th minute to give East Meadow (4-1) the 2-0 lead over MacArthur (0-5-1) in Conference II. Oscar Lopez also scored for East Meadow.
