Dybus' two-run double completes Wantagh's comeback

Matt Dybus hit a two-run double in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Wantagh a 12-11 win over Division Thursday in Nassau Conference A-I baseball. Dybus went 4-for-5 with five RBIs. Kyle Ambury hit a three-run homer in the fifth for Wantagh (2-0), which trailed 9-1 going into that half of the inning. The homer made it 9-5 and Wantagh scored four runs in the seventh.Port Washington 4, Farmingdale 3: Everett Keller threw a three-hitter, walked two, allowed no earned runs and struck out 10 in Conference AA-II. Robby Levinger's single drove in Jason Desimone with two outs in the top of the fifth to give Port Washington (2-0) a 4-3 lead.

Long Beach 4, Great Neck South 3: Mickey Silberfeld threw a three-hitter, walked four and struck out 11 for Long Beach in Conference AA-II. Will Schellhorn hit an RBI single in the bottom of the fourth to give Long Beach (1-1) a 4-1 lead.

Hicksville 10, Hempstead 0: Joe Morriset threw a two-hitter and struck out 11 in Conference AA-II. Chris Mitas went 2-for-3 with four RBIs for Hicksville (2-0).

Seaford 6, North Shore 4: David Hraska's two-out RBI single made it 5-4 and Sean Brolly homered in the sixth for Seaford (1-1) in Conference ABC-II. Mike Gallo hit a three-run homer in the fifth to tie the score at 4 for Seaford.Islip 15, Huntington 2: Edvardas Matusevicius threw a four-hitter and had 16 strikeouts for Islip (3-0) in League V.

Sayville 18, Amityville 3: Michael Hewson went 5-for-6 with three doubles, a home run, 10 RBIs and five runs in League VI. Steven Marsich had three hits, three runs and two RBIs for Sayville (3-0).

Bayport Blue-Point 6, Hampton Bays 4: Joe Liberatore hit a two-run double to give Bayport-Blue Point (2-0) a 6-4 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning in League VII.
