1. ST. ANTHONY’S GIRLS SOCCER

The Friars (10-0) have recorded shutout victories in each of their last five games, outscoring opponents 21-0. The defending CHSAA state champions have the conference’s leading point scorer in Brianna Passaro (10 goals, nine assists) and goal scorer in Brianna Jablonowski (14 goals).

2.  PORT WASHINGTON GIRLS TENNIS

The Vikings won a hard-fought 4-3 match over Syosset to close the regular season with a 14-0 record. Port Washington extended its win streak to 31. Eighth-grader Thea Rabman won in first singles to clinch the match.

3.  SMITHTOWN WEST BOYS SOCCER

The Bulls upped their record to 13-0 with two wins this week. A 3-1 win at Whitman and a 3-0 win over Bay Shore help the Bulls move up. Ryan Grande had a goal and three assists and has 12 goals and 11 assists this year.

4. ST. ANTHONY’S GIRLS SWIMMING

The Friars captured the CHSAA title in 2017 for the eighth straight season. Junior Briana Gellineau finished third in the 200-yard freestyle (1:52.07) and sixth in the 500 free (5:00.10) at the state championships last year. The Friars look poised for a ninth straight league title.

5. GARDEN CITY FIELD HOCKEY

The Trojans have recorded five consecutive shutouts and look to finish an undefeated regular season against Cold Spring Harbor on Tuesday. Grace Kelly leads Long Island with 16 goals. Four others round out the top 10 Nassau County points leaders — Liana McDonnell, Caitlin Cook, Amanda Cerrato and Ella Heaney.

6. SMITHTOWN BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

Smithtown had two runners in the state speed rating top 25 as of Wednesday, according to Tullyrunners.com. Nicholas DeFelice was ranked 18th and Kevin Cawley 23rd. Those are the second- and third-best speed ratings on Long Island, respectively. DeFelice finished 12th in 15:11.20 in the Varsity AAA race at the McQuaid Invitational on Sept. 29; Cawley was 15th in 15:14.40

7. SACHEM NORTH BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Setter Jack Driscoll has propelled Suffolk's only undefeated team with a county-leading 137 kills. North is 10-0.

8. LONG BEACH GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

The Marines are 10-0, but what’s most impressive is they haven’t dropped a set to Massapequa or Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK, both contenders in Nassau Class AA.

9. MASSAPEQUA BOYS GOLF

C.J. Muscarnera shot an even-par 35 on the front nine at Bethpage Yellow Course to lead Massapequa over Bethpage, clinching the Nassau IV regular-season title.

10. COMMACK BOYS SOCCER

Commack moved to 12-0-1 on the strength of its 8-1 win over Patchogue-Medford and a 4-0 victory over Longwood. Forward Matt Cozetti continues to pace the Cougars offense with 14 goals and seven assists.
