And here comes some national recognition for Half Hollow Hills West.

The unbeaten Colts, fresh off a four-point win over Christ the King (Queens) on Sunday, have entered the latest USA Today national Top 25 boys high school basketball poll.

Hills West (18-0) is ranked No. 25 in the country in this week’s edition. The Colts are the only team from New York in the poll.

In the 73-69 win against Christ the King, Tavon Sledge led with 24 points and 12 assists and Tobias Harris added 19 points and 14 rebounds. Harris is 44 points from reaching 2,000 for his career.
