UPDATE: Hills West wins 59-57 on Tobias Harris putback with eight seconds left in regulation.
Greetings from the Glens Falls Civic Center where Hills West is taking on Rochester East in a state Class A semifinal. The winner will play CBA Albany in the state final at 2:45 p.m. Sunday.

FINAL: Hills West 59, Rochester East 57
Tyler Harris hit one of two free throws to make it 44-39 and Chris Cox, off the bench, converted a three-point play later to make it 47-42 Hills.
Tobias Harris then had a bucket and Tyler was fouled and hit both shots to put the Colts up 51-42 with 5:45 left. It’s a 7-0 run for Hills.
Ivy ended the run with two free throws, and the teams traded baskets to make it 53-46 Hills with 4:07 remaining. Hills West had a shot lock violation on its next possession.
Wilson hit a three to pull East within 53-49 with 3:23 left and time out on the floor.
Hills West turned it over in the paint, but East missed a three the other way. Tobias had a putback off a Tyler miss to give the Colts a 55-49 lead with 2:26 to go.
Caruthers made two free throws to pull East back within 55-51 and Tyler Harris was stripped in the paint and Ivy brought East to 55-53.
It was 57-54 when Caruthers made one foul shot with 1:16 to go. Hills West then turned it over in the backcourt and Caruthers hit a jumper to tie it at 57 with 54 seconds left.
Wilson got a steal for East and Caruthers was fouled on the other end. He missed both shots.
Hills had the ball with under 30 seconds left. Sledge missed twice on a drive in the paint, but Tobias had the putback with eight seconds left to give Hills West a 59-57 lead.
East missed a long three-pointer at the buzzer and Hills West wins a close one, 59-57.
END OF THIRD QUARTER: Hills West 43, Rochester East 39
East led 27-23 two minutes into the second half then Tobias Harris had another two-handed drunk and Sledge a fastbreak lay-in to make it 27-27.
Brannon hit two foul shots for East and Sledge responded with another quick layin to tie it at 29 with 4:27 left in the third.
East went up three and Tyler Harris nailed a three-pointer from the left wing to tie it at 32 with about four minutes to go.
Off an East missed shot, Hills ran the court and Blackman fed Tobias Harris for a dunk to give the Colts a 34-32 lead with under three minutes to go. Tobias then had a putback to make it 36-32 lead with 2:32 left in the third.
Tabron made two foul shots for East to make it 36-34, then Tyler Harris made another three, falling out of bounds on the left wing, to give Hills a 39-34 lead with 1:16 to go in the third.
Wilson hit two foul shots to pull East within 39-36 then Blackman made a double-clutch bank shot. Ivy then hit a three to make it 41-39 Hills West.
Tobias Harris made two foul shots with 20.6 seconds left to put the Colts up 43-39 and Wilson missed a three-pointer at the third-quarter buzzer.

HALFTIME: Rochester East 23, Hills West 21
East led 14-10 with 5:25 left in the second quarter. Then Tobias Harris scored on a putback in the paint and Seldge finished a fast break with a layup to tie it at 14 with 4:39 before half.
Hills West led briefly 16-14 on a Tyler Harris putback – the Colts’ first lead of the game --- but East’s Caruthers tied it again at 16 with a jumper on the next possession.
Tobias Harris made two free throws to give Hills the lead back, 18-16, then he caused a few “Ooohs” in the crowd with a beautiful two-handed fastbreak dunk to give the Colts a four-point lead, 20-16, with 2:20 left in the second quarter.
East went on a 4-0 run and tied the score at 20 on two foul shots by Brannon. Tobias Harris made a free throw to make it 21-20 with just under a minute left. Sledge missed the front end of a one-and-one on Hills’ next possession and the both teams went scoreless until three seconds before half.
That’s when East's Ivy hit a three while falling in over a defender toward the basket to make it 23-21 East at halftime.
END OF FIRST QUARTER: Rochester East 10, Hills West 5
If the scoring output after the first quarter isn’t what you’re accustomed to its because Hills West has come out shooting cold against a zone defense from Rochester East.
Tobias Harris leads the Colts with three points on a two-pointer and one foul shot. East led 8-3 before Blackman cut it to 8-5 with 1:38 left in the first quarter with an inside move. East went up 10-5 on two foul shots and a Sledge three-point try came up short at the first-quarter buzzer.
