Laura Albanese here with the Class A final, as No. 1 Manhasset takes on No. 6 Lawrence for a chance to play for the Long Island title on Sunday.

The Indians won a heart-thumper against Floral Park last week, while Lawrence outright dominated over Great Neck North. Keep it here for all the action.

His layup a little over a minute later made it 53-38.

The Indians led by as many as eight (22-25), but Daniel's three and Shamseldin's three-point play with 1:27 left drew Lawrence to 33-31. Troia hit a straightaway three for the halftime margin. Shamseldin has 19 at the half, while Tibbs had 14.

UPDATE: Manhasset leads 18-11 at END OF FIRST. Gary Tibbs and Dan Merola struck together back-to-back putbacks with 1:57 left to put the Indians ahead 15-7. Tibbs' three-point play with 15.9 seconds left gave Manhasset the seven-point advantage. Tibbs had seven points in the quarter; Shamseldin had six.
