**FINAL**: Elmont is the county champ for the first time in program history after its 32-29 (yes, 32-29) win over Baldwin. Senat hit two free throws to give Elmont a 30-29 lead with 43.4 seconds to play. Anthony Elechi hit 1 of 2 with 26.2 to play to make it 31-29 and then Dillon Williams got a strip and saved the ball from going out of bounds for the steal.

Baldwin had a chance to tie down three with 9.1 seconds to play, but couldn't get a shot off.

Chambers led Elmont with 10 points and Wood-Smith scored all 12 of his points in the first half to pace Baldwin. Those two were in the only players in double-figures.

The Spartans will play Suffolk champ Half Hollow Hills West in the Long Island Class AA title game next Sunday at 4 p.m. at Stony Brook.

Next up today is the Class A final between No. 1 Manhasset (18-2) and No. 6 Lawrence (17-3).

**UPDATE**: Still not much offense, but it's still a close game after the third quarter. In fact, we're tied at 24 heading into the fourth. Robert Chambers hit a runner off the glass at the buzzer for the Spartans to tie it up.

**UPDATE**: Not much offense in this one. We're at the halftime, and Baldwin leads Elmont 16-15. The Spartans had just one point in the quarter until Greg Senat's three-point play with under a minute to go. Wood-Smith leads Baldwin with 12 points, while Senat leads Elmont with five.

We're here live at Hofstra for the Nassau Class AA final between No. 1 Baldwin (16-3) and No. 2 Elmont (17-2).

After one quarter, Elmont leads 11-9. The Spartans scored the first nine points of the game, but T'Ziah Wood-Smith (pictured) scored all nine of Baldwin's point to close the gap.
