The Nassau Top 10 remains unchanged at the top. There is some movement after the top 3, though. Elmont jumped two spots to No. 4 with an overtime win over Westbury and Hempstead enters these rankings after three wins last week.

1. Long Island Lutheran (9-2): Achraf Yacoubou scored 37 points and had 10 rebounds in a 105-99 win in three overtimes against Thomas Edison (Queens) on Saturday. Terry Brutus added 20 points and 16 boards for the Crusaders, who won their third straight.

2. St. Mary’s (7-5, 1-1 CHSAA): In their only game of the week, the Gaels fell to St. John the Baptist from Suffolk in double overtime on the road.

3. Uniondale (8-2, 5-0 Conference AA-I): The Knights picked up three league wins against Port Washington, Carey and Farmingdale.

4. Elmont (9-0, 2-0 Conference ABC-I): Elmont remained unbeaten by taking out Westbury, 74-71 in overtime on Tuesday and defeating West Hempstead on Friday. Senior guard Dean Walker scored 21 points in each of the two games.

5. Chaminade (7-3, 1-1 CHSAA): The Flyers drop slightly after being beaten at home by St. Anthony’s. They defeated Chaminade by 18 points in their other game this week.

6. Westbury (5-3, 1-1 ABC-I): The Green Dragons rebounded from the OT loss to Elmont with a 22-point win over South Side. Sheldon Hagigal had 16 points against South Side in his second game back from a leg injury. He played two minutes in the loss to Elmont.

7. South Side (6-3, 1-1 ABC-I): Leon Taylor and Brett Cohen combined for 44 points in a 64-47 win against Hewlett, but were held in check in the loss to Westbury.

8. Baldwin (6-2, 2-2 AA-I): Dominique Aberdeen continues to lead the Bruins in scoring with 14 points in a win against Farmingdale and 20 in a 20-point win against Valley Stream Central.

9. Hempstead (7-2, 3-1 AA-I): The Tigers climb into the top 10 with three wins this week: Port Washington, Carey in league and Jamaica in non-league. Junior forward Jordan Parks averaged about 18 points over the three games.

10. Hewlett (6-2, 1-1 ABC-I): Lost to South Side then beat Floral Park, 79-47. Michael Eckerle had 26 points in the win.
