Live blog: New York Class A final, Farmingdale vs. Ithaca

**FINAL**: Wow, what a way to start the day here in Cicero. Korey Hendrickson scores his third of the day 42 seconds into overtime to give Farmingdale its first state title with an 12-11 win over Ithaca.

**UPDATE**: At the 6:34 mark, Lasda scored his third of the game (all in the second half) on a bounce shot past a double team to tie it yet again, this time at 10.

**UPDATE**: Just 10 seconds after an Ithaca slash, Farmingdale retook the lead on Perettine's third goal. It's 10-9 with 8:57 left.

**UPDATE**: With 50.6 seconds left in the third, Riley Lasda has his second of the day to tie the game at 9 for Ithaca.

**UPDATE**: Perettine has his third of the day to put Farmingdale back on top, 9-8, at the 4:34 mark of the third.

**UPDATE**: Two goals in 56 seconds have tied the game at 8. Riley Lasda scored on a feed from Henderson.

**UPDATE**: And back comes Bucci and the Little Red. The senior middie has his fourth of the game to pull Ithaca within one at 8-7.

**UPDATE**: At the 7:00 mark of the third, Perettine gets a rebound and scores his second of the day to give Farmingdale an 8-6 lead.

**UPDATE**: Just 43 seconds into the second half, Farmingdale has its first lead, as Prendergast scores his second of the day from 15 yards out. Hendrickson had the assist, and the Dalers lead 7-6.

**UPDATE**: Just 27 seconds later, Bucci scores his third of the day to put Ithaca back on top, 6-5. But then six seconds after that, at the 4:55 mark, Starke scored his second off a faceoff to tie it back up at 6.

**UPDATE**: With 5:28 left in the half, Mike Perettine scores on a turn-and-shoot from Catalano (his second assist). It's now a 5-5 game.

**UPDATE**: At the 9:41 mark of the second, Farmingdale's Korey Hendrickson scores on a hard lefty rip from 15 yards out to make it 5-4 Ithaca

**UPDATE**: Bucci scores his second goal of the game, and 38th of the season, on a high rifle just under the crossbar. Ithaca leads 5-3 at the end of the first.

**UPDATE**: Out of a timeout, Patrick Starke won a faceoff, came down and scored to pull the Dalers within two at 4-2 just five seconds after Ithaca's goal.

Then, at the 1:45 mark, Brian Prendergast scored on a feed from Greg Catalano to make it a 4-3 game.

**UPDATE**: Ithaca is pouring it on here in the first. Joe Bucci scored on a low shot under goalie Mike Palmer's stick off a feed from Riley Lasda to make it 4-1 Little Red.

**UPDATE**: Now Farmingdale is on the board, as Sal Tuttle scored with 5:38 left in the first to make it 2-1. Just seven seconds later, Ithaca's Eli Lasda came down and scored off a faceoff to make it 3-1 Little Red.

**UPDATE**: Ithaca capitalizes on a 6-on-4 with 7:02 left in the first. Austin Romantic ripped a shot for the score on an assist from Jaedon Henderson. The Little Red leads 2-0.

**UPDATE**: Just one minute in, Ithaca has a 1-0 lead on a goal from Paolo Ciferri on a feed from Riley Lasda.
