Sorry for the delay with the live blog folks. Had some trouble with the internet here in the press box at Stony Brook.

Anyway, we're just underway in the third quarter, and West Islip leads Smithtown West 9-5 in the Suffolk Class A final behind Mike Sagl's three goals. Tom Moore (pictured shooting) and Brendan Smith each have two goals.

Matt Schultz leads the Bulls (15-3) with two goals.

The Lions (18-0), winners of 39 straight, are going for their eighth straight county final. The last time another team won was 2003, when the combined Smithtown team won.
