Defensive end Zach Naja blocked a punt and returned it 40 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter, and returned a fumble 54 yards for another score in the second quarter for the only points in Smithtown West's 12-0 upset of visiting North Babylon in Suffolk Division II football Friday night.
Naja also had two sacks as the Bulls (2-1) held North Babylon (2-1) to 121 total yards and five first downs. James Pannell ran for 62 yards and, at cornerback, made a fourth-quarter interception. Neeko Marchand made a team-high 12 tackles, and Chris Anzalone had 11 stops for Smithtown West.

Massapequa 3, Freeport 0: Dakota Barnathan scored two second- half goals, in the 55th minute and 65th minute, to lead Massapequa in Conference I.
Calhoun 2, Long Beach 1: Ryan McCarthy scored twice, including the winner midway through the second half for Calhoun in Conference III. Jake Scavetta scored 14 minutes into the game to put Miller Place up 1-0.
