Brenton Mighty gives Sewanhaka boys lacrosse OT win

Brenton Mighty scored his second goal on an assist from Trevor Regnier with 1:36 left in overtime to give Sewanhaka an 11-10 win over New Hyde Park, in a Nassau Conference B-I boys lacrosse game Tuesday.

Regnier had three goals and five assists. Peter Militano, who had four goals and two assists, scored with 20 seconds remaining in regulation to send the game to overtime. James Brooks had scored with 42 seconds left to put New Hyde Park (1-2) ahead 10-9.Manhasset 12, North Shore 10: Jack Keogh's two goals and two assists led Manhasset (2-0) in Conference B-II. Mike Bellucci won 10 of 16 faceoffs.Lynbrook 14, Bethpage 9: Mike Toy had three goals and two assists for Lynbrook (2-0). Defensemen Ryan Wainer and Eddie Bouhall each scored a goal in transition. Bay Shore 8, Floyd 7: Tom Glynn scored his second goal on an assist from Phil Glynn with 1:08 remaining in regulation to break a tie at 7 as Bay Shore (3-1) won in Suffolk League I. Rob Sarraga had two goals, and Will DeCamp made eight of his 23 saves in the fourth quarter.Connetquot 9, Commack 7: Matt Oehl had two goals and as assist to lead Connetquot (6-0). I.West Islip 10, Half Hollow Hills West 4: Conor Smith and Trevor Wills each had two goals and an assist, and Sean Seaberg carried the defense for West Islip (4-0) in League II.GIRLS LACROSSEHarborfields 14, East Islip 13: Caitlin Schaefer scored six goals for Harborfields (5-1). Eastport-South Manor 14, Westhampton 11: Kaeli Huff had five goals and three assists, Kelsey Huff had three goals and they combined for 10 draw controls to lead Eastport-South Manor (5-1). Jaime Biskup added three goals.Wantagh 13, Cold Spring Harbor 12: Madison Conway had four goals and an assist to lead Wantagh (5-0) in Conference I. Conway gave the Warriors a 13-9 lead with 9:33 remaining. Ally Murphy forced a turnover with 13 seconds left to seal the win. Nikki Sliwak added three goals and Kaitlyn Cerasi had two goals and three assists.

Bellmore JFK 9, New Hyde Park 6: Lauren Kranis had four goals and an assist, and Nicolina Torchia scored twice to lead Bellmore JFK (1-4). Nicole Khouryawad made eight saves.

Farmingdale 14, Oceanside 10: Tara Wahl and Bridget Weill each had five goals and an assist for Farmingdale (1-2) in Conference I. Cailee Perettine added a goal and four assists. GIRLS BADMINTONWantagh 4, Lawrence 3: Hannah Riddle's 21-13, 22-20 win over Arie Baum in third singles was the difference for Wantagh (4-0) in its Nassau Conference IV win.
