Cancemi throws no-hitter for Kings Park

Cassie Cancemi threw a six-inning no-hitter with six strikeouts and three walks for Kings Park yesterday in a 12-0 win over Glenn in a Suffolk League V/VI crossover.

Paige Julich went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and two RBIs.

Lawrence 14, Roosevelt 1: Freshman Emily DiNardi pitched a five-inning no-hitter with five strikeouts and two walks to lead Lawrence (2-3) in Nassau Conference A-V. Nicole Robinson went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and Alexis Quiroz went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Carey 3, Syosset 2: Rebecca Gotterbarn singled in Marcella Castellano in the bottom of the 10th to lift Carey (3-5) in Conference AA-I. Ashley Turato pitched all 10 innings, struck out seven and scattered seven hits to earn the win.

Farmingdale 5, Hicksville 4: Senior Kat Zabielski had her 100th career hit, a two-run homer in the fourth that made it 5-2 for Farmingdale (8-0) in Conference AA-II.

Connetquot 1, Sachem North 0: Erin Sweeney threw a three-hitter with four strikeouts and Angela Giangregorio scored on an error in the top of the seventh to win it for Connetquot (7-3) in a League I/II crossover.

Hampton Bays 7, Stony Brook 4: Karlie Troyan went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Hampton Bays (4-3) in a League VII/VIII crossover. Tara Stiansen had two hits and Rebecca Harris hit a solo homer.GIRLS LACROSSE

Calhoun 10, Hewlett 9: Rachel Tyson scored off an assist from Jesse Silverman with two seconds left in the game to give Calhoun (1-4) the win in Nassau Conference 2B. Nora Charidah tied the score at 9 with 4:23 left for Calhoun. She had two goals and two assists.Plainedge 12, South Side 9: Alexa Watson and Kelly Curran each scored once in the last 30 seconds of the game to seal it for Plainedge (4-2) in Conference 2B. Watson and Curran each had two goals and Jacqueline Kennedy led Plainedge with three goals. Longwood 15, Connetquot 14: Caitlyn Sweeney (3 goals, 2 assists) scored the winning goal with 1:40 left in the second overtime to lead Longwood (4-5) in Suffolk Division I. Sara Rivadeneyra scored six goals in the win. Alex Lopez of Connetquot scored the tying goal with four seconds left to force overtime.St. Dominic 11, Roslyn 10: Katie O'Brien (6 goals) scored the winner with 33 seconds left in the second overtime for St. Dominic (6-2) in non-league. O'Brien scored with 2:18 left in the second overtime to give St. Dominic a 10-9 lead, but Roslyn's Allison Kobrick tied the score at 10 with 1:05 to play. GIRLS GOLF

Northport 8, Half Hollow Hills East 1:Krissy Unger shot 3-over 35 at Dix Hills Park to lead Northport (6-2) in Suffolk League I. Ward Melville 8, Riverhead 1: Danielle Green shot 2-over-32 on the front nine at Heatherwood CC to lead Ward Melville (7-0) in League III.
