St. Anthony's Patrick Turner takes 29th, Friars 8th, at Nike Cross National finals

Seven boys cross country runners from St. Anthony's competed Saturday in the Nike Cross National finals in Portland, Oregon.

Patrick Tucker was the top performer from St. Anthony's, coming in 29th out of 199 runners from around the country with a time of 15:53.

St. Anthony's finished in eighth place out of 22 in the team competition.

Frederick Bucholtz (59th), Joseph Tucker (84th), Ryan Kutch (114th), Michael O'Leary (138th), Christopher Langer (148), and Ryan Dearie (161) were the other runners from St. Anthony's.

Tanner Anderson from Spokane, Washington won the event in 15:11.
