ENDWELL, N.Y. - Carle Place’s Giana McKeough gave herself a terrific 16th birthday present Saturday, scoring in overtime to beat Schuylerville, 1-0, in a state field hockey semifinal game.
McKeough, a junior, picked up a loose ball and swiped it into the back of the cage to send the Frogs into Sunday’s Class C championship game against Whitney Point.
