Vinny Bieniek went around the right end in overtime and dived into the end zone for a 4-yard touchdown to lift Mineola to a 20-14 win over North Shore in Nassau IV on Friday. Bieniek finished the game with 69 yards and two TDs on 10 carries and completed 5 of 9 passes for 67 yards. Mineola (2-2) forced a turnover on downs on North Shore's only overtime possession. Chris Lockwood blocked a 32-yard field goal attempt with a second remaining in regulation that would have won the game for North Shore (1-3). Mineola's Kyle Dunleavey ran for 52 yards and a TD.

Locust Valley 13, Seaford 5: John Piscitello made a tackle on a fourth-and-one at the Locust Valley 46-yard line with 6:59 remaining in the game to seal the win for Locust Valley (3-1). Jordan Formicola scored two TDs, including a two-yard score with 10:26 left in the fourth for a 13-0 lead. He also intercepted a pass on the Locust Valley four-yard line with 8:23 left in the fourth. Piscitello made eight tackles.

Roosevelt 41, Clarke 7: Johnnie Akins ran for 209 yards and two TDs on 11 carries and also scored on a 19-yard fumble return to guide Roosevelt (4-0) over Clarke (2-2). Raymond Jones made a 74-yard TD run on the Rough Riders' first offensive play from scrimmage and added nine tackles and three sacks. Elliot Fortune had seven tackles and a sack.

Valley Stream North 30, Carle Place 16: Chris Case scored on a 6-yard-run to cap a 14-play opening drive to lead Valley Stream North (3-1). Brian Carroll's 10-yard run with 9:05 left in the third gave Valley Stream North a 12-8 lead, as the Spartans rattled off 24 straight points. Fullback Brandon Brana broke three tackles and ran for a 48-yard fourth quarter scamper, guided by the downfield blocking of receiver Vincent Boccia. Mike DiRico had nine tackles and a sack. Case had a sack, blocked a punt and added six tackles. Isaiah Walsh had 72 rushing yards on five carries.

East Rockaway 27, Oyster Bay 0: Chris Amabile ran for 169 yards on 12 carries, including a 43-yard TD to lead East Rockaway (1-3) over Oyster Bay (1-3). Dominic DeRosa ran for 81 yards and a TD. East Rockaway's first score came after Jack Lark blocked a punt and Dylan Crawford returned it 39 yards for a TD. Crawford also made six tackles. East Rockaway put the game away in the third quarter when Michael DelGais hit Kevin Blessington for a 30-yard TD.

Malverne 34, Cold Spring Harbor 0: Jamal Aaron Hill ran for 232 yards and two TDs on 12 carries and tossed a 15-yard touchdown pass to Maxon Jean to guide Malverne (2-2) over Cold Spring Harbor (0-4). Jean had three receptions for 82 yards and two TDs, including a 55-yard score on a pass from Bryce Todd. Todd's lone carry went for a 68-yard TD. Chris Hackett finished with 41 yards rushing on seven carries. Kazeem Martelly finished with eight tackles and a sack. Jean had two interceptions and Hill added another.

West Hempstead 35, Island Trees 10: Bruce Gibbs carried 15 times for 140 yards and two TDs, and Enrique McFarlane had 88 yards rushing and two scores on 17 carries to lead West Hempstead (4-0) over Island Trees on Friday. McFarlane and Gibbs scored on 1-yard runs and Anthony Beabrun had a 19-yard TD run during a 22-0 third quarter that gave Rams a 28-10 lead with 1:23 left. Akil Philip and brothers Anthony and Vinny Messina each had an interception. Andy Benetiz had two sacks.
