Bryan Providence leads VS South with 3 TDs

Bryan Providence had 155 yards of total offense and three TDs, including one passing, rushing and receiving, to lead Valley Stream South to a 31-6 win over Division Saturday in Nassau III football. Providence had 70 yards on seven carries, a 21-yard TD catch and completed two passes for 64 yards for VSS (1-1). Division is 1-1.

Plainedge 31, Manhasset 6: Nick Frenger went 12 of 17 for 211 yards and two TDs and rushed for 108 yards on nine carries to lead Plainedge (2-0) over Manhasset (1-1).

Hewlett 48, North Shore 14: Richard Lyons rushed for 102 yards on 11 carries. Jeremy Leguillow caught two TD passes and Zach Richman rushed for two TDs for Hewlett (2-0). North Shore is 0-2. Bethpage 29, Sewanhaka 20: Chris Feruzza scored on 6-yard TD run and converted a two-point conversion in the opening minutes of the fourth quarter to put Bethpage (1-1) up 21-20. Sewanhaka is 0-2. Lawrence 54, Lynbrook 6:Jordan Fredericks rushed for 114 yards on three carries with two TDs and had two catches for 50 yards and two TDs for Lawrence (2-0) Joe Capobianco threw four TD passes. Lynbrook is 1-1. South Side 19, Floral Park 6: Eric Willie had 24 carries for 154 yards and two TDs to lead South Side (2-0). Floral Park is 0-2.

Glen Cove 48, Carle Place/Wheatley 0: Sean Pan rushed for 104 yards on 12 carries and Will Kassar threw for two TDs for Glen Cove (1-1). Carle Place/Wheatley is 0-2.
