Friars QB Campisi aces his first start

Greg Campisi completed 9 of 18 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns in his first varsity start to lead St. Anthony’s over St. Peter’s 23-6 Saturday in CHSFL football. Charles Barsella, who had six tackles, intercepted a pass on St. Anthony’s 15-yard line late in the third quarter. The Friars (2-0) drove downfield, and Campisi connected with Andrew Hancock for a 15-yard touchdown and a 23-6 lead in the fourth.

Tappan Zee 20, Port Washington 0: Jacob Kaypour ran for 120 yards on 28 attempts, and Drew Reiter caught five passes for 80 yards for Port Washington (0-3).
