Kevin Rafferty's 5-yard TD run lifts South Side

Kevin Rafferty scored a 5-yard touchdown with 45 seconds left to lift South Side (4-3) to a 27-22 win over Division (1-6) in Nassau III. Rafferty finished with eight carries for 35 yards and made 13 tackles. Cole Considine connected with Danny Cecere on a 40-yard screen pass on the previous play to set up the winning TD. Considine completed 7 of 18 passes for 154 yards and two TDs, and Cecere had three receptions for 103 yards and a TD. Ryan Pickett had nine carries for 91 yards, including a 15-yard TD run. Eddie Seganti had 11 tackles and a fumble recovery.

Glen Cove 28, Bethpage 20: Ryan Perkins 40-yard punt return set up Will Kassar's 10-yard TD run and the ensuing two-point conversion gave Glen Cove a 21-14 lead with eight minutes left in the third. Mike Burrell knocked down a pass on the last play of the game for Glen Cove (6-1).

North Shore 21, Floral Park 12: Josh Schwartz had 70 receiving yards and two TDs on three catches to lead North Shore (4-3) over Floral Park (3-4). Chris Inzirello capped the scoring with a 98-yard TD run on third down to seal the victory with 21 seconds left. Michael Floccari went 7-for-12 for 119 yards and two scores. Kenny Daley ran 15 times for 81 yards. Bryan Goetz had two sacks and a forced fumble.

Sewanhaka 25, Carle Place 8: Jake Mellen and Jacques Francois connected for two TDs, including a 43-yard TD pass to make it 18-8 with 1:50 left in the third, to lead Sewanhaka (2-5) over Carle Place (0-7). Mellen completed 16 of 24 passes for 257 yards and two TDs and Francois had four receptions for 118 yards, including a 57-yard TD. Peter Militano returned an interception 43 yards for the TD with 9:50 remaining. Jamal Mirville had a sack on fourth down in the third and Freddy Bailey had 12 tackles. Valley Stream South 19, Manhasset 0: Chris Infantino had three sacks, one for a safety, to lead Valley Stream South (4-3) over Manhasset (4-3). Nnamdi Nwaigwe had a 65-yard score with 29 seconds left in the first.
