Tommy Napolitano connected with Aaron Cho on a 29-yard touchdown pass with 9:17 left in the fourth quarter to tie the score, and Sebastian Lorenzana converted the extra point to lead Herricks past Sewanhaka, 15-14, in Nassau Conference II football Saturday.

Herricks came back from a 14-point deficit starting in the middle of the third quarter. Napolitano tossed a 34-yard pass to Cho in the third quarter and Ryan Oommen rushed in a successful two-point conversion to make the score 14-8. Cho ended the game with an interception on fourth down with 54 seconds to seal the win for the Highlanders (2-5). Sewanhaka is 1-5.

Elmont 56, Roslyn 21: Elmont had four special teams touchdowns (three on kickoff returns, one punt return) and more than 300 return yards. Justus Nathaniel, Osagie Ekhator and Isiah Davis each had kickoff returns for touchdown and Eric Burkett had an 80-yard punt return for a touchdown for the game’s final score. Evan Colwell completed 4 of 5 passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns, Davidson Ba LaFortune had two interceptions, Rashaun Stephens Jr. had an interception and Josh Malloy added two sacks for Elmont (4-3). Roslyn falls to 0-6.

Carey 35, Baldwin 13: Kyle Lewis rushed for 46 yards and a score on 14 carries, caught a 48-yard touchdown pass and returned a fumble for a 2-yard score to lead Carey. Matt Metzger completed 5 of 6 passes for 75 yards and two TDs for the Seahawks (3-4). Ray Bedien caught a 12-yard touchdown, and Joe Bonelli had six carries for 53 yards and a 45-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Baldwin fell to 3-4.

Mepham 27, New Hyde Park 0: Dominick Novello blocked a field goal with less than three minutes remaining in the first half to set up Nick Honerkamp’s 8-yard touchdown run to give Mepham a 6-0 lead. Honerkamp rushed for 66 yards and two scores on seven carries and completed 7 of 9 passes for 121 yards. Dylan Dunn had a 4-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to cap the scoring. Brendan Moran led the Pirates (5-2) with six tackles, three sacks and a fumble recovery. Mike Cucinella had a 29-yard interception return for a touchdown, forced a fumble and had three receptions for 91 yards. New Hyde Park is 5-2.

Glen Cove 36, Calhoun 6: Anthony Schettino and Devon Gonzalez combined for 307 yards rushing and three scores to lead Glen Cove in Nassau II. Schettino rushed for 122 yards and three scores on 16 carries and Gonzalez added 14 carries for 185 and a two-point conversion. Quarterback Khaleem Zachary was 9-for-16 passing for 144 yards and a 11-yard touchdown pass to Christian St. Eloi. St. Eloi had four receptions for 76 yards a score. Glen Cove is 3-4 and Calhoun is 2-4.
