Jordan McLune ran for 149 yards and three touchdowns on just 10 carries to lead No. 1 Farmingdale over No. 8 Valley Stream Central, 56-6, on Friday night in a Nassau quarterfinal.
McLune raised his career total to 61, which is a school record according to coach Buddy Krumenacker.
Angelo DeLuca, Corey Hill and Kevin McCormick (two) also scored rushing for touchdowns. Anthony Burriesci caught a 25-yard pass from Tom Donovan (4 of 6 for 33 yards) for a touchdown.
Hill made 16 tackles, and Vincent Delia had 10. Jack Rosen and Tyler Sullivan each recorded a fumble recovery. Farmingdale (9-0) will face No. 4 Massapequa Thursday at Hofstra in the semifinals.
Freeport 56, Uniondale 23: Jaelin Hood had five catches for 165 yards and two touchdowns, along with three carries for 50 yards and a touchdown for No. 2 Freeport. Rashad Tucker completed 6 of 9 passes for 176 yards and three touchdowns. Elyjah Campbell had two catches for 35 yards and a touchdown, plus three carries for 45 yards and a touchdown. Jahred Wray had eight carries for 74 yards and two touchdowns.
Nicolas Olivier made seven tackles and Hood had four tackles plus an intreception that he returned 50 yards. Freeport (8-1) will play No. 3 Baldwin in a semifinal game Thursday at Hofstra.
