Senior William Stanback ran for a career-high 335 yards and he scored four touchdowns for Uniondale in a 27-7 win over Plainview JFK in Nassau I football Saturday.

Stanback opened the scoring in the first quarter with a 77-yard run. He followed with soring runs of 56 and 40 yards that give Uniondale (3-3) a 20-0 lead. Jordan Hamilton and Justin Nelson each had 10 tackles and Tyler Desire had two sacks for Uniondale. Plainview JFK is 2-4.

Oceanside 44, Freeport 26: Tom Capone completed 12 of 18 passes for 257 yards and two touchdowns, and he ran for 121 yards to lead Oceanside (6-0). Justin Buckley ran for 143 yards and a touchdown and he had a 17-yard TD reception as the Sailors racked up 627 yards of total offense. Vassilli Grigorakos added two rushing TDs and had 12 tackles on defense. Anthony Pintabona had three catches for 90 yards, an interception and a fumble recovery. Connor Johnson had an interception and Ryan Hertling had a sack and a fumble recovery. Freeport is 1-5.

Syosset 23, Valley Stream Central 8: Joe Morris had 123 yards on 23 carries and a 15-yard touchdown run four minutes into the game. Morris also returned an interception 40 yards for a TD with 6:30 left in the first half to put Syosset (3-3) ahead 23-0. Quarterback Hunter Gross scored on a 2-yard run late in the first quarter. Valley Stream Central falls to 2-4.Massapequa 42, Hempstead 8: Craig Berge had three receptions for 107 yards and a touchdown for Massapequa (4-2). His first catch, a 70-yard pass from Paul Bentz in the second quarter, erased a six-point deficit. Bentz added two rushing touchdowns in the win. Linebacker Nick Balzano had a team-high 11 tackles and defensive tackle Tim Gungor added a sack and a fumble recovery. Jack Korber added 63 yards rushing and two TDs on nine carries.

Baldwin 33, Hicksville 0: Jayvaun Tomlinson returned a blocked punt by Charles Cannova 42 yards and scored on an 86-yard run to lead Baldwin (4-2) on Friday night. Travais Hylton scored on a 45-yard pass from Tyler Warner and returned a kickoff 91 yards for the Bruins. Johnathan Robinson added a 51-yard scoring run that gave Baldwin a 19-0 lead in the first quarter. Kadeem Langhorne led the defense with six tackles.
