Akym Land found Jordan Alexander for 20-yard touchdown on Lawrence’s first possession in overtime, helping the Golden Tornado to a 39-33 comeback victory Saturday over Hewlett in Nassau III.

On Hewlett’s first overtime possession, Lawrence stopped a fourth-and-goal from the 5- yard line.

Hewlett (1-3) took an 11-point lead with 5:58 left. But Kevin Rodriguez converted a 28-yard field goal, and Chris Collier scored on a 7-yard touchdown run with 1:05 left. Land connected with Danny Amaya on a two-point conversion to tie the game.

Collier rushed for two touchdowns and 145 yards on 23 carries. Land passed for 189 yards and rushed for 89 and two touchdowns. Bryan Tarrant made three receptions for 52 yards. Amaya led Lawrence (4-0) with nine tackles. Amaya’s twin brother, Jaira, made seven tackles and recovered a fumble.

Wantagh 42, Division 7: Tom Rohan ran for 212 yards and three touchdowns to lead Wantagh (4-0). Rohan also had an interception. Anthony D’Onfrio helped break open the game for Wantagh with punt return touchdowns of 48 and 70 yards in the second half. Wantagh ran only 18 plays from scrimmage and all six of its touchdowns were 47 yards or longer.

Roslyn 22, Floral Park 8: Adam Combs completed 13 of 22 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown and ran 12 times for 112 yards and a touchdown to lead Roslyn (1-3). The Bulldogs trailed 8-0 at halftime, but Brian Paschka forced a fumble on the first play of the second half and Combs recovered. That set up a 57-yard drive, capped by Combs’ 1-yard run. Combs connected with Prince Butler for a 47-yard touchdown early in the fourth, and Marc Azouley, who had 12 tackles, returned an interception 12 yards for a touchdown with about three minutes left.

Bethpage 27, Plainedge 21: Thomas Galgano’s 1-yard touchdown plunge with 7:00 left, followed by a two-point conversion pass from Galgano to Jason Seiter, gave Bethpage a 27-13 lead. Galgano rushed for three touchdowns and passed for one. After Galgano scored with 10 minutes left to make it 19-13, Robert Darvick recovered an onside kick. Seiter rushed for 63 yards on 13 carries and made seven tackles. Matt Collins rushed for 50 yards on 14 carries. Ryan O’Neill had five solo tackles for Bethpage (3-1).

Roosevelt 48, South Side 13: Corey Bull had four touchdowns, including an 84-yard run on the first offensive play for Roosevelt (3-1). He ran for 271 yards on 17 carries and tacked on an interception. Kevon Hall had two touchdowns and 236 yards on seven carries. Farrakhan Anderson had a 6-yard touchdown run. Jeriah Smith had six tackles and a sack, and Chaucer McMillan had six tackles.
