Malverne 16, Locust Valley 14. Maurice Teachey followed his 34-yard touchdown run by completing a two-point conversion on the ground in Malverne’s 16-14 win over Locust Valley yesterday in Nassau IV.

Teachey’s conversion gave Malverne (2-0) an 8-7 lead with 11:12 remaining. After forcing a three-and-out on the ensuing drive, Teachey went 65 yards untouched down the right sideline and Elijah Lewis’ two-point conversion run gave Malverne a 16-7 lead with with 7:32 left.

But Keenan Herlich caught a 3-yard touchdown from Francesco Anile as Locust Valley cut it to 16-14 with 3:07 left. Locust Valley got the ball back after a defensive stop but its 35-yard field goal attempt on fourth-and-10 fell short with 35 seconds left.

Oyster Bay 21, Friends Academy 18: Dylan Toney had 25 carries for 181 yards and two touchdowns leading Oyster Bay (2-0). Charles Collette completed four of seven passes for 43 yards. He also had nine carries for 44 yards and one touchdown and made two interceptions. Kirkland Green-Knox had three tackles, one assist and one sack.

Clarke 30, West Hempstead 10: Sean Russell completed five of 10 passes for 128 yards and one touchdown, leading Clarke (2-0). Tyler Abbatiello had 12 tackles and Besnik Dalipi made nine. Austin Carman-Lyons had five tackles and one sack, along with six carries for 47 yards and a touchdown. Corey Rosenbloom had 11 carries for 81 yards and two touchdowns.

Valley Stream South 28, Mineola 6: Ozzy Traill completed five 5 of eight passes for 108 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 45 yards on seven carries. Ryan Ortiz had five tackles and five quarterback hurries. Nick Hernandez carried 10 times for for 106 yards and two touchdowns. Chimemerem Obichere caught two passes for 80 yards and two touchdowns. Christian Aurelus made three special teams tackles for Valley Stream South (1-1).

North Shore 35, Carle Place 18: Nick Liotta forced and recovered a fumble with nine minutes left in the fourth quarter. Ryan Aughavin completed seven of 12 passes for 133 yards and one touchdown for North Shore (1-1).

Seaford 47, East Rockaway 7: Danny Roell rushed 12 times for 175 yards and three touchdowns in the first half to lead Seaford (2-0). Jake Benderman rushed 10 times for 85 yards and two touchdowns.

Cold Spring Harbor 26, Island Trees 0: Cole Szajna had a 60- yard kick off return to open the second half. Nick Vasso recovered a fumble on a kickoff. Connor Cassidy carried 10 times for 138 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for Cold Spring Harbor (1-1).
