Nate Chavious rushes for 341 yards, 4 TDs as Bellport tops Rocky Point

Nate Chavious ran for a school-record 341 yards and scored four touchdowns on 30 carries for Bellport in a 35-20 win over Rocky Point in Suffolk III football.

Chavious bested the previous mark of 332 yards set by Travis Houpe at the Suffolk County Division II championship game in 2010. Adrian Delrosario scored on a 47-yard run and Connor Sipp and Conor Haverty combined for 30 tackles for Bellport (2-2) Rocky Point is 1-3.

Eastport-South Manor 20, Harborfields 14: Zeller Cole scored on a 3-yard run with 1:37 left to lift Eastport-South Manor (1-3). Nico Bedell forced a fumble with Harborfields inside the Eastport-South Manor 20-yard line with six minutes left to set up the final drive. Matt Prokesch had 153 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries, including a 7-yard TD run to tie the score at 14 with nine minutes left in the third.

Kings Park 29, Comsewogue 21: Tom Milich scored on a 16-yard run with eight minutes left to give Kings Park (4-0) a 22-14 lead. Milich finished with 101 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries and Tom Venier had 14 carries for 102 yards, including a 6-yard touchdown run with with 4:45 to play. Joe Guercio completed 4 of 8 passes for 52 yards and added a fumble recovery and an interception. Luke Toscano had 10 tackles, Joe Reinl had eight tackles and Mike Going added seven tackles in the win. Comsewogue is 1-3.

Miller Place 34, Islip 0: Ryan Gray completed 10 of 15 passes for 170 yards and three touchdowns to lead Miller Place (4-0). All three of Gray's scoring passes were caught by Austin Yezarski, who hauled in six passes for 97 yards. Gray's first TD pass to Yezarski, a 36-yard score, gave Miller place a 7-0 lead in the first quarter. Their final connection, an 11-yard strike, gave Miller Place a 27-0 lead in the third. James Nielsen and Mason Rodriguez each had seven tackles in the win.

Amityville 20, Huntington 19: Deon Richards scored on an 8-yard pass from Sean Walters and Eric Willis caught the two-point conversion with 1:30 left to win it for Amityville (3-1). Richards' TD catch capped a 92-yard drive. Willis made eight tackles in the win. Huntington drops to 3-1.

Sayville 35, Westhampton 7: John Haggart had 125 yards rushing and two touchdowns to lead Sayville (4-0). Chris Selts and Zach Sirico scored on runs of 1 and 5 yards and James Giattino scored on a 27-yard pass from Sirico for Sayville. Dylan Bonacore made seven tackles for Sayville (4-0). Westhampton drops to 2-2.
