On fourth-and-18, Thomas Davis snagged a lateral from Isaiah Hunter on the tail end of a hook-and-ladder pass and cruised in for a 30-yard score late in the third to help Roslyn (4-0) beat Friends Academy, 22-18, yesterday in Nassau V.

Alex Epprecht had two interceptions. One of them set up a score when Adam Combs hit Hunter on the fade for a 30-yard TD to draw Roslyn to within 18-15 with five minutes left in the third. Epprecht also recovered the onside kick to begin the eventual game-winning drive, had 14 tackles, and caught a 15-yard TD pass in the second quarter.

Long Island Lutheran 28, St. Dominic 14: Anthony McCoy scored from 1 yard out and added a two-point conversion with 2:25 left in the second to give LuHi (1-3) a 22-14 lead. In the third, Elijah Walters ran a trap up the middle, got a block from Sebastian Ferretti and made two tacklers miss in the open field for a 31-yard TD.

Jericho 50, Great Neck South 12: Donnie Condon ran for 60 yards and two TDs for Jericho (2-2). Safety Ryan Condon returned an interception 35 yards for a touchdown and a 20-6 lead midway through the second quarter.

Port Washington 47, Great Neck North 12: Johnny Nahas returned an interception 60 yards for a touchdown that gave Port Washington (4-0) the lead for good, 20-12. Mike Gennusa had 178 yards rushing on 20 carries and three TDs.
