Nick Messina had 17 carries for 119 yards and one touchdown to lead No. 5 Ward Melville to a 14-0 win over No. 4 Connetquot Saturday in a Suffolk I quarterfinal. John Corpac had two catches for 23 yards and one touchdown. Andrew McKenna had four receptions for 82 yards for the Patriots. He also made two interceptions. Zach Hobbes and Robert Brando each forced a fumble. Brando and Stephen Torrico each had a sack. Ward Melville is 5-4.

Lindenhurst 21, Sachem North 9: Jeremy Ruckert made four catches for 59 yards and a touchdown and had eight tackles and a sack to lead No. 1 Lindenhurst (9-0). The Bulldogs led 14-0 at halftime thanks to a 27-yard touchdown pass from Austin Perri to Ruckert and a 54-yard touchdown pass from Perri to Steven Ramirez in the first quarter. Lindenhurst will host Ward Melville on Friday night.

Longwood 28, Northport 7: Latrell Horton ran 22 times for 223 yards and two touchdowns to lead No. 3 Longwood (6-3). Jake Murphy ran 17 times for 88 yards. Jordan Harris completed 2 of 4 passes for 61 yards, with both completions going to Courie Bradley, one for a touchdown. Harris also had a sack. David Perez had three sacks and seven tackles.

Floyd 49, Bay Shore 12: Nick Silva had 17 carries for 148 yards and two touchdows to lead No. 2 Floyd (8-1). AJ Ray had three catches for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Robert Taiani completed 5 of 7 passes for 86 yards and three touchdowns. Floyd will host Longwood on Saturday.
