Nolan’s block, Antieri’s TD lead Hampton Bays

Johnny Nolan blocked a potential game-winning field goal with 12 seconds remaining in regulation and Nico Antieri scored the winning 10-yard touchdown run in overtime to lead Hampton Bays over Bayport-Blue Point, 20-14, Friday night in Suffolk IV.

Antieri had eight carries for 44 yards and two touchdowns for Hampton Bays (3-3). Colin Smith had 16 carries for 77 yards and a touchdown, recovered a fumble and had four sacks and nine tackles.

Ben Sohtz and Dylan Durand each had two sacks and Adam Ortiz and Josh Aube combined for 11 tackles.

Port Jefferson 28, Southampton/Pierson 14: Matt Lennon intercepted a pass near the Southampton sideline and cut back and forth across the field for a 61-yard touchdown return with six minutes remaining in the game to seal the win for Port Jefferson yesterday.

Jack Collins connected with Brian Webb for a 23-yard touchdown for Port Jefferson (4-2) to tie the score at 6 in the first quarter. Collins also ran for two touchdowns.

Mount Sinai 34, Greenport/Southold/Mattituck 14: Jay Shlonsky and Andrew Fiore connected on a 41-yard touchdown to give Mount Sinai a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. Shlonsky finished 3 of 5 for 113 yards and two touchdowns and added a 3-yard touchdown run.

Fiore had 100 receiving yards and Jared Donnelly added a 13-yard touchdown reception. Mike Carneiro had 125 rushing yards on eight carries, Rich Harris added 66 yards and a score on 11 rushes and Jo Jo Pirreca had 60 yards and a touchdown on five carries. Mike Sabella had two sacks and Bobby Christ had 11 tackles.

Glenn 41, East Hampton/Bridgehampton 14: Brett Ryan ran for 119 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries to lead Glenn. Nathaniel Larkins ran for 65 yards and a touchdown on five carries, returned an interception for a touchdown and recovered two fumbles. The Glenn (4-1) defense forced six turnovers in the game and the Knights jumped out to a 34-0 halftime lead.

Matt Tufano converted 5-of-6 extra points and also had an interception and a fumble recovery.

Babylon 42, Center Moriches 6: Joe Rende had 116 yards on three carries, including a 38-yard touchdown run, to lead Babylon.

Scott Sasso and Jason Carlock connected for a 59-yard touchdown pass and Sasso also had a 48-yard rushing score. Justin Vega added 89 rushing yards and Gujuan Booker and Chris Costanzo added touchdown runs for Babylon (6-0). Shaun Kaminsky had two interceptions and Taylor Tanner had two sacks.
