The schedule makers weren't looking out for the reporters when the slate was made this Friday. There are several big games with league titles on the line as well as results that will impact playoff seedings.

Holy Trinity at St. Anthony's, 4 p.m.: The Titans have won 13 consecutive games and lost the first matchup against the Friars. This game doesn't mean much for St. Anthony's, which is 9-0 and should still get the top seed in the CHSAA playoffs with a loss. Holy Trinity is battling for the second seed and a win would put the Titans in great shape to get it. The top two seeds in the CHSAA go to Class AA for the state playoffs.

Sachem East at Lindenhurst, 6 p.m.: This is a huge game with the League I title likely on the line as well as a top four seed in the Class AA playoffs. Each team is 11-1 in league play and Sachem East took the first matchup, 56-51.

Kings Park at Harborfields, 6 p.m.: Harborfields (10-0) won the first matchup on the road and the defending Class A champions will clinch the League V title with a win and make a strong case for the top seed in the Suffolk Class A playoffs with wins in the final two games. Kings Park is 9-1.

Wyandanch at Center Moriches, 6:15 p.m.: Center Moriches (8-0) can clinch the League VII title with a win and the No. 1 seed in the Suffolk Class B playoffs. The defending champions beat Wyandanch (7-1) the first matchup.
