1.      St. Anthony’s (4-1): The Friars opened the week with a 66-39 win over St. John the Baptist behind Symone Kelly’s 16 points and 10 rebounds. Then they beat Holy Trinity 58-37 as Rebecca Musgrove, pictured above, had 20 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists. St. Anthony’s capped the week with a 72-63 loss to Forest Park (Virginia).

2.      Long Island Lutheran (7-1): The Crusaders defeated Curtis, 66-34 as Boogie Brozoski had 14 points and nine assists and Staci Barrett had 14 points and 13 rebounds and then defeated Truman on Sunday.

3.      Sachem East (1-1): The Flaming Arrows were off the past week.

4.      St. John the Baptist (4-4): The Cougars lost to No. 1 St. Anthony’s and bounced back with wins over Kellenberg and Francis Lewis.

5.      Holy Trinity (4-3): The Titans eked out a 51-49 win over Sacred Heart and then lost to No. 1 St. Anthony’s.

6.      Baldwin (2-0): Baldwin played one game and defeated Valley Stream Central, 84-50.

7.      Lindenhurst (3-0): Valerie Oyakhilome had 27 points and 16 rebounds as Lindenhurst defeated Islip, 61-34.

8.      North Babylon (0-2): North Babylon had the week off, but lost Charise Wilson after she transferred to St. Anthony’s.

9.      Sacred Heart (5-4): Sacred Heart lost to Holy Trinity 51-49 and defeated Our Lady of Mercy 45-43.

10.  Glenn (4-0): The defending Suffolk Class A champions beat Commack, 52-29 and defeated Southampton, 57-23.
