Peter Liotta rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown, made 11 tackles and forced a fumble for North Shore in its 26-9 win over East Rockaway in Nassau Conference IV Saturday. Liotta scored on a 41-yard rush in the second quarter to give North Shore (3-2) a 12-3 lead. David Berlin returned a fumble 97 yards for a score with 2:50 left in the fourth quarter to seal the game. Daniel Quigley had a rushing touchdown and Reece Ramos recorded 13 tackles and two sacks. East Rockaway is 2-3.

Cold Spring Harbor 40, Island Trees 6: Charles Tauckus rushed for 224 yards and four touchdowns on 31 carries to lead Cold Spring Harbor. Jesse Phelan had a 29-yard touchdown reception to give the Seahawks a 13-6 lead. CJ Reilly had a touchdown and two interceptions and Kyle O’Grady added a interception for the Seahawks (3-2). Aidan McKean had five tackles in the win and Caden O’Connor added a 60-yard kick return. Island Trees is now 4-1.

Carle Place 19, Oyster Bay 6: Jordan Gazit opened up the scoring with a 7-yard touchdown to lead Carle Place. Gazit added a 28-yard run after Anthony Garcia’s fumble recovery. Gazit totaled 100 yards on the ground and 50 yards passing and Mike Del Gais sealed the win with a 49-yard run, totaling a game total of 102 yards on the ground for Carle Place (3-3). Oyster Bay is now 2-4.

Malverne 34, Lawrence 6: Farvens Ulysse threw for 95 yards and two touchdowns to lead Malverne. Ulysse connected with Deandre Blagrove on a 24-yard pass to open the scoring for Malverne in the second quarter. Michael Williams had a sack to force a fumble that was recovered by Hugh Wilkerson for a 6-yard touchdown near the end of the first half, giving Malverne (3-2) a 21-6 lead. Norman Brown rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown. Jaden Manzanillo had three receptions for 58 yards and one touchdown. Jedidiah Aidelogie had six tackles and two sacks. Lawrence is 1-4.
