Jackie Sileo hit a driving layup with 2:10 remaining to lift Wantagh to a 47-44 win over Elmont on Friday in a Nassau Conference ABC-I girls basketball.
Sileo's layup gave the Warriors (2-3) a 43-42 lead. Patricia Simpson's three-pointer extended the lead to 46-42 with 1:50 left. Kaleigh Craig (21 points, 16 rebounds) added a free-throw with 18 seconds left to provide the final margin. Craig finished with 21 points and 16 rebounds. Gallagher scored all 10 of her points in the fourth quarter, to help Bethpage erase a 32-18 deficit.
