St. Mary's upsets Kellenberg

St. Mary's scored the final 10 points of the game to rally and upset visiting Kellenberg, 65-59. It was the first league loss for Kellenberg. Jessica Mattone hit a three-pointer with one minute remaining to put St. Mary's ahead 60-59. St. Mary's hit 14 three-pointers, including six by Shannon Flynn. The senior scored 21 points, including a three in the third quarter to become the all-time leading scorer for St. Mary's with 1,370 career points, according to coach Tom Flynn.

Kellenberg was coming off a win against St. Anthony's on Tuesday. This certainly opens up the race for the top spot in the CHSAA as no team is undefeated in league play.
