Final: 11-10, Northport in double overtime.

Northport wins. Cortney Fortunato scored on a free position with 1.3 seconds left.

Devon Collins scored with 47 seconds left in the second overtime to tie the score at 10 for Pittsford. Curwin had scored with 1:09 left to pull Pittsford within 10-9

Allie Breitfeller scored with 0.7 seconds left in the first overtime to give Northport a 10-8 lead.

Gilroy gave the Tigers a 9-8 lead in overtime with a goal at 2:35 but got hit while shooting and went down. She has been laying on the field getting tended to by the trainers for several minutes. Teammates and fans have started chanting "Shannon, Shannon, Shannon."

Gilroy was carried off the field by the training staff, unable to walk on her own.

And five hours after the game started (the first start), we've got overtime. Northport made a defensive stand in the last seconds and forced a turnover with nine seconds left to keep the score knotted at 8.

Drama! Shannon Gilroy scored on a laser shot from 6 yards out with 58 seconds left to tie the score at 8. The Tigers had blown three free position chances in less than two minutes before Gilroy's goal.

After a second lengthy rain delay and a third warmup period, the game resumed. Ali Pavinelli scored at 5:40 to pull Northport within 8-7.

The game was delayed again with 8:17 remaining and Northport down 8-6. It's raining heavily and thunder is rumbling.

Pittsford upped its lead to 8-5 on Stephanie Spoto's goal with 12:47 remaining. Shannon Gilroy answered at 10:36 to pull the Tigers within 8-6.

Kelsie Schindler scored with 20:07 remaining to give Pittsford a 6-5 lead. They went up, 7-5, on Abigail Cullinan's goal at 18:51 off a free position.

Halftime: 5-5

After the long rain delay, the teams aren't showing ill effects. The action has been fast and Pittsford holds a 4-3 lead.Alison Curwin's goal at 9:19 had put the Panther ahead after Cortney Fortunato had tied it at 3 for Northport on a goal at 10:05.

Northport took a 1-0 lead on Megan Marinelli's goal at 24:00, but the game was stopped at 23:52 due to thunder.

4 p.m. UPDATE: The game has been suspended until 5:30 p.m. today. It is now raining hard and consistent thunder.
