COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP PREDICTION:

On Sept. 1, I predicted here that Kristi Abbate and Rosy Hayes' final season together would be their finest.  What better way to go out than with a county title?  I say Northport's finesse overcomes West Islip's physicality in the county title game and Abbate and Hayes final season ends in Cortland: NORTHPORT 3, WEST ISLIP 1.
