Meet Newsday's All-Long Island boys golf first team for the 2017 spring season.

Xiao tied for the best score at the state tournament after 36 holes with a 3-over 146 at Cornell, and finished in second after three playoff holes. He also won his second consecutive Nassau County title after shooting a 1-over 143 at Bethpage.

The Navy-bound player won the CHSAA league title

The Navy-bound player won the CHSAA league title in a playoff hole after shooting a 6-over 78 on Eisenhower Red. He also came in fourth in the Catholic league state tournament.

Cristian DelVecchio, Friends Academy, Jr.

He tied for second at the Nassau county

He tied for second at the Nassau county tournament with a 144 over 36 holes at Bethpage and also tied for 13th at the state tournament.

Shane DeVincenzo, Port Jefferson, Soph

He came in second at the Suffolk individual

He came in second at the Suffolk individual tournament in the fall, shooting 148 over two days at Rock Hill Country Club before falling in a playoff. He also tied for sixth at the state tournament by shooting a 151.

He won the Suffolk County championship by shooting

He won the Suffolk County championship by shooting a 148. He shot a 1-over 72 on Day 2 to force a playoff and parred his first hole to win the title.
