1.WESTHAMPTON GIRLS TENNIS The Hurricanes capped a 17-0 season with a 4-3 win over Syosset to capture the Long Island championship. Rose Peruso and Juliet Tomaro defeated Olivia Tiegerman and Alex Flicker, 6-4, 7-6(5) at second doubles in the deciding match.

2.SMITHTOWN WEST BOYS SOCCER Gavin Baker scored off an assist from Jackson Haft in overtime on October 17 against Lindenhurst to preserve the Bulls perfect record. Smithtown West finished the regular season with a 16-0 record and a +44 goal differential and is the top seed in the Suffolk AA playoffs.

3. ST. ANTHONY’S GIRLS SOCCER The defending CHSAA state champions have outscored opponents, 56-7, in an undefeated, untied season. The Friars scored 11 goals in their final two regular-season games, highlighted by a 3-2 victory over Sacred Heart, when Brianna Jablonowski scored the winner with 35 seconds left off an assist from Lauren Haggerty.

4. SACHEM EAST FIELD HOCKEY Kristen Shanahan scored two goals in a 3-0 win against No. 8 Commack in the Suffolk Class A quarterfinal game, to advance the Flaming Arrows Top-seeded Sachem East remains undefeated on the season and looks to win its first Suffolk A title since 2014.

5.  FREEPORT FOOTBALL The Red Devils are 7-0 in Nassau Conference I and remain the top ranked football team on Long Island.

6. GARDEN CITY FOOTBALL The Trojans have won 31 games in a row behind a stingy defense and an offense that scores 30+ per game. Halfback Trevor Yeboah-Kodie and QB Colin Hart balance an efficient offense.

7. SACHEM NORTH BOYS VOLLEYBALL Setter Jack Driscoll ranks second in Suffolk in kills (174) and is fifth in both blocks (18) and aces (14) for the county’s only undefeated team at 14-0. Fellow Flaming Arrow A.J. Fitzgerald is seventh in the county with 106 kills.

8. LONG BEACH GIRLS VOLLEYBALL Undefeated in conference play, the Marines were not truly tested in the regular season. That could change come playoffs, but with a core led by two-way setter Grace Rosenberg, they're poised for a long run.

9. AMITYVILLE BOYS SOCCER Amityville boys soccer: Amityville (15-0-1) capped its regular season with a 4-0 win over East Hampton that featured two goals and two assists from Kymani Hines. The Warriors have outscored their opposition 23-1 in their last five games as they head into the Suffolk A playoffs, where they will be the top seed.

10. JERICHO BOYS BADMINTON (14-0) Jericho continued its dominant streak with shutout victories over Great Neck North and Roslyn. Jericho has shutout every opponent but two this season (Syosset and Great Neck South)
