Pandolfi, Washington lead Stony Brook

Tim Pandolfi scored 25 points, and junior Jerome Washington had a career-high 20 points and 14 rebounds to lead Stony Brook (5-1) to a 72-41 win over Ross Monday in League VIII.

Lawrence Woodmere 58, Martin DePorres 36: Jamal Benn had all of his 31 points in the first half to lead Lawrence Woodmere (10-2) in non-league.

Portledge 48, Knox 40: Nick Lobley had 15 points, and Adeola Adegbite had 10 points and 11 rebounds to lead Portledge (5-2) in IPPSAL. Jesus Colon had 29 points for Knox.

Waldorf 47, Solomon Schechter 34: Landon Twine had 20 points, and Sean Proctor added 12 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists for Waldorf (8-1) in IPPSAL.

GIRLS BASKETBALLWard Melville 54, Brentwood 34: Caysea Cohen had 18 points and 10 assists, and Megan Murtagh added nine points and 14 rebounds to lead Ward Melville (5-3) in League I.

Stony Brook 56, Ross 31: Brannon Burke had 24 points and six rebounds, Natalie Istrati had 16 points and 15 rebounds and Jessica Winston added 10 points and five assists for Stony Brook (5-1) in League VIII.

Mattituck 43, Mount Sinai 38: Junior Clare Finnican had a career-high 11 points to go with eight rebounds and two blocked shots to lead Mattituck (3-10) in non-league.

Portledge 52, Knox 13: Samantha Kravitz had 10 points and seven rebounds, and Arielle Parris and Kristie Kelly each added eight points to lead a balanced offense for Portledge (5-0) in IPPSAL.
