Reilly, Rogers lead Portlege girls past Riverdale

Addie Reilly had eight goals and four assists, and Claudia Rogers scored the winning goal with 2:39 left for No. 2 Portledge in a 14-13 win over third-seeded Riverdale in a NYSAIS girls lacrosse semifinal game. Portledge (15-2) plays top-seeded Hackley of Westchester in the championship at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday at Randall's Island Field 10.

Northport 19, Ward Melville 13: Shannon Gilroy had six goals and one assist to lead No. 1 Northport (16-1) in a Suffolk Class A quarterfinal. Northport will host West Babylon in the semifinals at 4 p.m. Wednesday.West Babylon 17, Floyd 6: Sam Rush had six goals and Chelsea Retaleato had four goals and four assists to lead No. 4 West Babylon (13-4) in a Class A quarterfinal.

Bay Shore 12, Middle Country 9: Alyssa Leonard scored seven goals and Katie Lawlor had eight saves for No. 3 Bay Shore (14-3) in a Class A quarterfinal. Bay Shore plays at West Islip at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

West Islip 16, Sachem North 6: Loren Ziegler had six goals and two assists for No. 2 West Islip (13-2) in a Class A quarterfinal.BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Bellmore JFK 3, Jericho 2: Brian O'Gorman set a school record with 16 blocks, breaking his own record of 12 set last season to lead No. 2 Bellmore JFK over No. 3 Jericho, 20-25, 25-21, 20-25, 34-32, 25-21, in a Nassau Class B semifinal at Massapequa. Bellmore (12-2) fought off five match points in Game 4 and plays No. 4 West Hempstead at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Adelphi.
