Skon's two touchdown passes lead Lindenhurst

Stephen Skon was 11-for-14 for 188 yards and two touchdowns in leading Lindenhurst to a 24-0 win over Patchogue-Medford Friday night in Suffolk Division I football.

David George's 86-yard punt return for a touchdown put the Bulldogs (3-3) on the board in the first quarter. George also had three catches for 70 yards and a touchdown. Josh Stewart had 13 tackles and two sacks and Mike Gut and John Filiberto each recovered a fumble for Lindenhurst. The Raiders are 2-4.

Westhampton 34, Rocky Point 7: Brian Curry's 34-yard scoring run with 6:41 left in the third gave Westhampton (4-2) a 13-7 lead in Division III. Renato Alvarado made 12 tackles and Cory Schulz had eight. Schulz also ran for 53 yards and three touchdowns.
