Havens pitches no-hitter for ESM

Catherine Havens tossed a no-hitter with 10 strikeouts and two walks and went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBIs as Eastport South Manor (9-6) defeated Huntington, 13-0, in League V. Michelle Iannone went 4-for-4 with four RBIs and Kim Kaufmann went 2-for-5 with a run and an RBI.

Kings Park 2, Islip 1: Lindsay Taylor allowed two hits -- both bunt singles -- and two walks with 19 strikeouts to lead Kings Park (15-1) in League V. Paige Julich went 2-for-3 and Nicole Torlincasi went 1-for-2 with an RBI.

Lindenhurst 7, Connetquot 1: Erin McCarthy went 3-for-4 with two RBIs to lead Lindenhurst (5-10) over Connetquot (11-4) in League II. Jessica Sholl and Laurie Michalowski each had two-run doubles.

Bay Shore 6, Whitman 0: Brianna Coan hit a three-run double in the first inning to lead Bay Shore (15-0) in League II. Marissa Brightman was 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs and Taylor McGowan (2-for-4 with an RBI) pitched a three-hitter with four strikeouts.

Bethpage 12, Division 4: Mackenzie Gallagher went 3-for-4 with a double, triple, home run and six RBIs as Bethpage (11-1) clinched the Conference II-A title. Julianne Tierney went 2-for-4 with an RBI triple, Katie Ferraro went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Caitlyn McGuggart went 3-for-4 with an RBI.

Mepham 1, Oceanside 0: Mary Galgano went 2-for-3, including a single to drive in Shannon McLean in the bottom of the fourth inning, and Victoria Gunnels tossed a one-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts and no walks to lead Mepham (11-6) in non-league.

Jericho 9, Glen Cove 7: Lianne Condon had a two-run double and Samantha Cohen drove in two with a single as Jericho (14-4) scored eight runs in the bottom of the third in non-league.

Massapequa 9, Carey 4: Rachel Sieber drove in four runs, Alyssa Zinkiewicz went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs and Danielle Gariglio went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Massapequa (9-5) in Conference I-AA.

St. Anthony's 10, St. Dominic 2: Michelle Carbone went 4-for-5 with four RBIs, Marilyn Freeman went 2-for-5 with four RBIs and Chrissie Clearly went 3-for-5 with four runs scored to lead St. Anthony's (11-4) in CHSAA.
