Camhi earns Long Island Player of the Year honors for the second consecutive season. Camhi won the New York State Singles Title in her third appearance at the State Championships, taking the final match 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 over Garden City's Morgan Herrmann. That victory followed her initial 6-0, 6-0 win over Herrmann in the Nassau Individual Singles Championship Oct. 16, clinching both the State and County titles for the first time in her career. She was 18-0 this season and will play for Brown next fall.

Herrmann was the Nassau and New York State runner-up in the Individual Singles Championships as an eighth-grader. She beat the No. 2 and No. 3 ranked players in the state on her way to the championship match.

Yamus had the best performance among Suffolk singles players at the State Championships by reaching the quarterfinals. She finished third at the Suffolk Individual Singles Championships and led Hills East to a county title.

Along with sister Mickey, the duo was dominant as a doubles pair and easily captured the Suffolk Individual Doubles Championship. At states, the duo reached the quarterfinals. On the team level, they led No. 19 Northport to a surprising appearance in the Suffolk Championship match against Hills East.

Daniggelis made her second appearance at the State Championships by winning the Suffolk Individual Singles Title. Daniggelis beat Hills West's No. 5 Zenat Roshizada in the title match 6-3, 4-1, after knocking off No. 2 Ludmila Yamus from Hills East in the semifinals. At states, Daniggelis reached the finals of the consolation singles bracket. Daniggelis will attend Yale next fall where she'll play lacrosse.

Gabriella Leon and Paikin clinched the Nassau Individual Doubles Title by winning 12 straight games in the final match to win it 6-1, 6-0. The pair appeared in the State Championships for the first time and reached the quarterfinals.

Torres won the consolation singles bracket in her second trip to the State Championships, beating Nicole Daniggelis in the finals. Although she plays in the lesser conference-II, Torres earned third place at the Nassau Individual Singles Championships to qualify for States.
